Leeds DEC are recruiting for a Project Worker to support the delivery our European funded ‘Global Issues, Global Subjects’ secondary school curriculum project.

Job Description:         Project worker (Secondary schools)

Salary                    £22,000- £26,500 PA pro rata (depending on skills and experience)

Hours               18- 24 hours per week

Contract:           1 Year initial (Possible extension(s) to October 2020)

Start date:                 As soon as possible

We are looking for a proactive, organised person with great people skills and a can-do attitude.

The role includes:

  • Working with secondary teachers to produce Global Learning teaching materials in – Maths, Science, MFL and other subjects

  • Liaison with schools and Leeds City Council

  • Production, trialling and dissemination of teaching materials

  • Research and Promotion and marketing
